Alumni Spotlight

Our graduates are truly global productive citizens.  Below is a list of our recent graduates, and what they are doing today.

Vanessa Mériné
Class of 1999

After graduating from Union School in 1999, Vanessa studied psychology at Tufts University in Boston. After receiving her Masters Degree in International Business in Miami, Vanessa also got a PhD in education from the University of Massachusetts. She is now working within the admissions department of Florida International University. Vanessa plans to pursue an additional doctorate in International Education.

Isadora Abdallah
Class of 2004

After attending Union School, Isadora studied Business Administration at American University in Washington DC. She now works with Assurances Leger S.A., a local insurance company. Ms. Abdallah also consults for the International Development Bank while she is in Haiti. In addition to being a successful business woman, Isadora will also be getting married to another Union School graduate, Giovany Gardere, in July 20011.

Melissa Jiha
Class of 2007

Melissa studied abroad after graduating from Union School in 2007. She now works with the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Deschappels, Haiti, where she works on cholera education and awareness. Melissa is currently teaching Communications/Health at Union School.

Joel Jean-Baptiste
Class of 1997

After Union School, Joel received his BA in Political Science from Boston College. He later received his Masters Degree in Information Systems from Georgetown University. He now works in a Washington DC area law firm, where he responsible for their database, online technologies and general information systems.
